Nakano, M.

Masatsugu Nakano (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1996, 1998, and 2017, respectively. In 1998, he was with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. He is currently with the Himeji works, Hyogo, Japan, where he is involved in development of high performance motors. From 2014 to 2016, he was an Assistant Secretary of the IEEJ Rotating Machinery Technical Committee. From 2017 to 2019, he was the Secretary of the IEEJ Rotating Machinery Technical Committee. From 2020 to 2022, he was the Vice-Chair of the IEEJ Rotating Machinery Technical Committee. He was the recipient of the IEEJ Paper Presentation Award in 2004, 2005, and 2007, and IEEJ Distinguished Paper Award in 2011. Dr. Nakano is a Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
