Dr. Nacer Chahat was born in Angers, France. Over ten years of experience in design, analysis, and development of antenna for projects ranging from UHF to THz frequencies for communications, RADAR, and imaging systems. His expertise includes satellite communications antennas (for spacecraft, CubeSat, Lander, and Rover), wearable and flexible antennas for communications and biotelemetry, and antennas for remote sensing and radio astronomy instruments. He also specialized in very accurate EMI/EMC analysis for large Spacecraft. He is the project EMI/EMC System Engineer on SWOT. His passion consists on developing new technologies to solve complex problems or to open up new paradigms. He is the Payload System Engineer for the SWOT mission.
