Nicolas Gorius

Nicolas Gorius received the master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Institut Superieur de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE-SUPERAO), France, in 2007. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with The Catholic University of America (CUA). He works at NASA/GSFC under a cooperative agreement with CUA. He worked as an Instrument Engineer for the Cassini and OSIRIS-Rex missions. He is the Laboratory Manager of the NASA’s GSFC Planetary Systems Instrument Development Laboratory. He is also the Instrument Scientist for the CUVIS instrument on-board the NASA DAVINCI Discovery Class Mission to Venus. His research interests include the development of new planetary sciences instruments and new data processing techniques, including the use of AI on-board space based instruments.
