Nelly Frossard is an expert in the field of airway inflammation and pharmacology. She is mainly interested in chemokines and their role in the localization of immune and inflammatory cells in the airways, particularly in asthma and lung transplantation. Her interest recently focuses on neutralizing the chemokines by small chemicals, the “neutraligands”, thereby allowing to study the mechanism and adaptation of the inflamed airways toward a normal response.
