Myriam Heuertz

I develop a research line on ecological population genetics of plants, mostly trees, from species-rich tropical and Mediterranean ecosystems. I use ecological data and genetic markers to unveil neutral and adaptive evolutionary processes and characterize the drivers of adaptive evolution in species and in communities of closely related species. I am also active in conservation genetics, liaising with policy and management stakeholders.
