个人简介
Our lab is currently working on the underlying epigenetic mechanisms of Metabolic Memory (MM) as related to diabetes (DM). We approach the problem using a zebrafish DM/MM model in which Metabolic Memory can be studied without the background noise of AGE and ROS activity. Recently we have focused on MM in the endothelial cell in DM using endothelial cells cultured from human endothelial progenitor cells obtained from control and DM patients. This is a collaborative effort with Mayo Clinic.
