Mounir Bouzguenda received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, USA, in 1985, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA, in 1988 and 1992, respectively. He taught in VA, USA, MD, USA, Washington DC, and Tunisia. He was a Consultant with the Standard Technologies Institute, ML, USA; the Temple Group, Washington DC; and Computer Engineering Services, Sfax, Tunisia. He joined Sohar University, Oman, in 2000, as a Senior Lecturer, and Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, as an Associate Professor, in 2009. Currently, he is teaching electrical and computer engineering. His research interests include renewable energy systems, power systems, and power electronics. He has authored and coauthored many technical articles in these areas.
