Dr. Estelle Ben Salah-Moulin obtained her medical degree from the University of Lausanne in 2008. She then completed her training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in a peripheral hospital and then at the CHUV, from 2011. In 2016, she joined the Infection Control team (Unité Hygiène Prévention et Contrôle de l’infection) and developed competences in the field of communicable diseases while working in parallel for the cantonal medical office (Vaud) between 2018 and 2020. She is currently a hospital doctor in the HPCI unit of the CHUV. She is particularly interested in the promotion of good antibiotic use and participates in the deployment of the institutional antibiotic stewardship programme at the CHUV. She also participated as a co-investigator in a multicentre project in French-speaking Switzerland led by Dr. L. Senn and supported by grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) within the framework of NRP 72 "Antimicrobial resistance".
