Carmen Moreno

Dr. Moreno finishes her studies in Psychology at the University of Sevilla in 1984. In 1991 she reads her doctoral thesis Developmental and educational ideas. A longitudinal and cross-generational study, directed by Dr. Jesús Palacios, and obtaining a final mark of Pass cum laude. She will later receive the Extraordinary Prize for PhD of the year 1990/91, awarded by the University of Sevilla. Since 1985 she is member of the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology (in 1994 she obtains the title of University Senior Lecturer and in since 2011, Professor). Her teaching activity has been mainly developed on the Faculty of Psychology within the Psychology Degree, as well as in the Master´s Degree in Family Intervention and Mediation, an Official Post-graduate in Psychology. She becomes Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Seville in July 1996 (to January 1999) and since 2013 she is the coordinator of the Master´s Degree in Family Intervention and Mediation. Her research activity is focused on four main issues: Family as a developmental context; Attachment and social competence; Children abuse & Adolescent development: social relationships, psychological adjustment, health development and adolescent lifestyles.
