Mohammad Behgam Shadmehr

Mohammad Behgam Shadmehr received the M.D. degree in 1989 and completed the General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery Residency in Tehran, Iran, in 1996. He also completed a three-year research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, in 2003. He is currently a Professor of Surgery and the Chief of the Tracheal Diseases Research Center, Masih Daneshvari Hospital, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran. Dr. Shadmehr has published more than 110 peer-reviewed articles in different aspects of medicine and biomedical engineering. His particular interests are airway surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries, and transplantation.
