Dr Afshar is an early-career researcher in health services research, currently assisting the QUMPRC research team in a NHMRC grant funded project. Prior to joining at QUMPRC, he held academic and research positions at University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Brac University, Jagannath University, and Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). Afshar’s area of broad research interest include health services research, health informatics, applied economics, and medical device epidemiology.
