My research work focuses in integrating physical, statistical, and machine-learning approaches to develop methodologies for information extraction from dynamic systems using remote sensing. My approach is guided by the “diverse problems, similar solutions” principle where physical, mathematical, and computational commonalities that underlie diverse information extraction problems from non/minimally intrusive sensing are exploited to develop innovative solutions across different applications.
