Michael John Paulsen

Michael J. Paulsen is a cardiothoracic surgical resident and postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University. Michael's research interests include complex in vitro modeling of cardiac surgical pathologies using 3D printing technologies, mechanical modeling of tissue and valvular hemodynamics, angiogenic cytokines, as well as cost, quality, and operations management research in healthcare.
