Mehrad Sarmashghi

Mehrad Sarmashghi received the B.S. degree in aerospace engineering from the Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran, in 2015. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in systems engineering with Boston University, Boston, MA, USA. From 2016 to 2022, he was a Research Assistant with the Division of Systems Engineering, Boston University. His research interests include the development of statistical model identification methods to analyze neural spiking data and integrating them with machine learning algorithms to classify neural populations.
