Maulid M. Kivambe received the M.Sc. degree in condensed matter physics and biophysics and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He is currently a Scientist with the Energy Conversion Group, Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation, Doha, Qatar. He was a Postdoctoral Associate with the Photovoltaics Research Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for two years. His research interests include structural, optical, and electronic properties of materials for photovoltaic applications.
