Her work centers on sustainability and proactively address the biodiversity crisis while exploring approaches that support social and environmental justice. She notably explores the use of biotechnologies to more humanely manage invasive rodent populations across the globe. She works together with indigenous communities to combine traditional knowledge with scientific developments to fully understand local ecosystems & guide the development of environmental protection & restoration.
