Massa is a speech engineer, with experience in building commercialized and award-winning systems for automatic speech recognition and text to speech. Massa has worked on multiple speech research projects with leading experts in the field.

She has also founded her own startups, one of which was chosen by the Founder Institute in Silicon Valley and made it to the semi-finals of the Global Innovation for Science and Technology competition, among thousands of applicants from around the world.
