Recent work: Applying Systems Biology to identify objective characteristics of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The need for this approach is that Military members frequently believe there is a stigma attached to PTSD and deny or simply do not recognize the problems they are experiencing. Like most illnesses, PTSD has multiple biotypes and that complicates identification of effective therapeutics. Our work is applying the biomarker studies to aid in selection of personalized therapeutics for this illness.
