Marta Coronado-Zamora

I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE-CSIC-UPF) in the group Evolutionary and Functional Genomics lead by Dr. Josefa González. I'm studying the interplay between transposable elements and epigenetic and expression changes in natural populations of D. melanogaster. In 2013, I obtained a BSc in Genetics (Extraordinary Prize) and in 2014 an MSc in Bioinformatics from the UAB. I continued my research training carrying out a Ph.D. in Genetics in the Bioinformatics for Genetics Diversity group lead by Dr. Antonio Barbadilla and Dr. Isaac Salazar-Ciudad. My research is focused on population genomics and evo-devo following multiomics data integration approaches.
