Marina Mazzoni

Marina Mazzoni was born in Florence, Italy, on June 28, 1950. She received the Laurea degree in physics from the University of Florence, Florence, in 1975. She is currently a Researcher with the Istituto di Fisica Applicata “Nello Carrara,” Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Sesto Fiorentino, Florence. She has worked on pyroelectric sensors for IR laser sources, on Nd:Yag lasers, and on dye lasers and has worked in several research projects in collaboration with national industries, universities, and the European Space Agency. She studied strong field effects on radiative transitions of transient molecules induced by lasers in atomic vapors.
