Prof. Lima research interests involve wound healing process and Diabetes, including action mechanisms and new coverage. She has been involved in teaching undergraduate, master, doctoral and postgraduate students. She has published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals in the field of Diabetes and wound healing. She has experience in the clinical and experimental research in the field of wound healing.
