Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the UFG (1986), master's degree in UFMG (1992), a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the UNESP (1999) and post-doctorate from the University of Cordoba, Spain (2010). Titular Professor at the UFG, and began her teaching career in 1992. Has experience in the area of Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis in Clinical and Veterinary Pathology / Conservation of Animal Genetic Resources, acting on the following topics: photosensitivity, conservation of local breeds, nephrology, liver disease and clinical nutrition of dogs and cats. Adviser master and doctorate at the Program in Animal Science EVZ / UFG. Currently is Vocal of the Latin American Association of Buiatrics and and Board Member of the razilian College of Veterinary Nephrology and Urology.
