Manuela Galli has a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (July 1991) and has obtained a PhD degree in Applied Mechanics (Biomechanics) in 1996 with a PhD thesis in the field of multifactorial movement analysis for clinical applications. At present she is Associate Professor at the Department of Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano and teacher of "Laboratory of Functional evaluation" in the course of Biomedical Engineering and teacher of PhD course of "Analysis and Synthesis of human movement". She is responsible of "Posture and Movement Analysis Laboratory "Luigi Divieti" of the Department of Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano and responsible of "Gait Analysis Lab" of IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana, Tosinvest Sanit, Rome. She is author of several scientific works, published with an international peer review process, in the field of the movement analysis for clinical applications. She is often present to international movement analysis courses and seminars as invited speakers.
