Specialty Diploma in Gastroenterolgy from the Spanish Ministry of Health in 1995 after training at Hospital de la Princesa, Madrid, 1991-1994. Advanced Endoscopy training at Motol University Hospital, Prague, Czech Republic & Silesian Medical Academy, Katowice, Poland in 1995-1996. Areas of interest: interventional pancreatobiliary and GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, metal stent, with a major focus on interventional therapeutic EUS; development of novel therapies; postgraduate advanced endoscopy training.
