I am a toxicologist dedicated to improve the health of (future) mothers and children globally through science and education. To accomplish this mission, I investigate the effects of potential toxicants on female health and the developing child, thereby avoiding unnecessary harm for animals. I translate these findings into practice and policy and disseminate to (inter)national scientific, societal and political communities in order to encourage healthy living from an early age.
