Maido Merisalu is an Estonian materials scientist who currently works at the Institute of Physics, University of Tartu. Maido is also the CEO of Captain Corrosion OU, which is a University of Tartu spin-off company. His main research is related to novel nanotechnology-based materials and coatings for automobile and aerospace industries or medical implants. Maido is currently involved in two main project - "corrosion testing in space" and "3D-animation based study materials and teaching resources for higher education"
