Maximilian Wiesmann

During my PhD and postdoc period I have mainly focused on the impact of hypertension and stroke in mouse models using translational imaging techniques therewith becoming a preclinical neuroimaging expert. During my tenure track, I want to confirm and further unravel underlying pathological mechanisms induced by hypertension using different murine models to investigate longitudinally with translational neuroimaging and both behavioural and cognitive tests accompanied by histopathology.
