Manuel García Sánchez (Member, IEEE) received the Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 1990, and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Universidade de Vigo, Vigo, Spain, in 1996. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Universidade de Vigo. He was the Head of the department from 2004 to 2010. His research interests include radio systems, indoor and outdoor radio channels, channel sounding and modeling for narrowband and wideband applications, interference detection and analysis, design of impairment mitigation techniques, and radio systems design.
