María S. Guillem

María de la Salud Guillem was born in Valencia, Spain. She received the M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Valencia, in 2003, the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. She was a Fullbright Fellow at Northwestern University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electronics Engineering Department, UPV, where she is also a Researcher at the Institute for Applications of Advanced Information and Communication Technologies. Her research interests include biomedical signal processing with main interest in cardiac signals.
