Marcus Quinkler

Marcus Quinkler graduated from the Medical School of the Free University of Berlin in 1997, followed by training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Diabetes from 1997 to 2002 under the auspices of Wolfgang Oelkers at the Benjamin Franklin University Hospital, Berlin, Germany. From 2002-2004 he was awarded a DFG Postdoctoral Training Fellowship (2002-2004) at the University of Birmingham, UK, with Paul M. Stewart. He works on themes in Endocrinology, especially on adrenal diseases such as adrenal insufficiency and adrenal tumors. Marcus Quinkler has held positions as a clinical researcher and consultant for Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Diabetes from 2004 to 2014 at the Charité University Hospital Berlin, Germany, and since 2014 at the Endocrine Center “Endocrinology in Charlottenburg”, Berlin, Germany. He has received the Schoeller-Junkmann Award of the German Endocrine Society (DGE) in 2005.
