Mikael Mazur

Mikael Mazur (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2019. In his dissertation, he studied optical frequency combs in optical communications, focusing on signal processing schemes enabled by comb coherence. In January 2020, he joined the Advanced Photonics Research Department, Nokia Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ, USA, as a member of Technical Staff. At Nokia Bell Labs, he develops subsystems and techniques for space-division multiplexing in coupled-core and multimode optical fibers, investigates multimode arbitrary waveform synthesis, and develops real-time signal processing techniques for optical transmission and fiber sensing systems. Dr. Mazur is also a member of Optica.
