With a strong academic background in both Physics and Computer Engineering, most of my career up to my PhD was focused on applying computational methods (python, Matlab, C, C++, CUDA, LabVIEW,…) to solve the different challenges that inevitably appear during Physics research. This included writing laboratory software, implementing numerical models, and performing a significant amount of data analysis and visualization.
Following the completion of my PhD, my interests converged to Artificial Intelligence and data science: finding ways to computationally solve problems that cannot be solved using classical algorithms and extracting useful information from large datasets.
