Luciane Martins

Luciane Martins is a biologist with Ph.D. in Science and currently is a post-doctoral researcher at Piracicaba Dental School, University of Campinas, Piracicaba, SP, Brazil. Luciane does research in Medical Genetics, Cell Biology and Bioinformatics, focusing on the following subjects: complex genetic diseases (cancer and familial periodontal disease), syndromic hereditary diseases (Hypophosphatasia, Sturge-Weber, Chediak-Higashi, Pfeiffer syndromes) and non-syndromic (tooth agenesis), molecular bases of the periodontal regeneration, bone metabolism, extracellular matrix and cell signaling. Has expertise in medical genetics, cell and molecular biology, genetic and genomic, proteomic, biotechnology, bioinformatics.
