His main research fields are: - Technologies for chemical and electro-chemical oxidation in the treatment of high strength or hazardous wastewater; - Hazardous materials encapsulation in cementitious matrix and solidification/stabilization of hazardous wastes; - Energy and materials recovery from industrial wastes; - Contaminated soil and sediment remediation.
