Dr. Bernstein’s clinical practice includes neuropsychological assessment and individual and group psycho-educational interventions designed to teach patients self-management skills to better cope with cognitive dysfunction during and following cancer diagnosis and treatment.Her research focuses on better understanding and characterizing the cognitive changes that cancer and/or its treatment has on people, both in the short and long term, and ways to help improve functioning.
