Lorenzo Biassoni

I am a Nuclear Medicine Consultant and the Clinical Lead of the Nuclear Medicine Unit, Department of Radiology, of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children since 2006. I have been a member of the Paediatric Committee of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine between 2004 and 2009 (chairman 2007-2009), and a senior advisor to the Committee between 2017 and 2019. I have carried out teaching and training tasks as a scientific expert for the International Atomic Energy Agency, and have been a member of the Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee (2007-2015). I have been an invited speaker at many national and international conferences and courses. I am on the editorial board of the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and a reviewer for several other scientific journals. I am the author of several peer-reviewed scientific papers and chapters of textbooks.
