Lina Shi was born in Henan, China, August 21, 1980. She received the B.S. degree in physics, in 2002, from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, where she is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in physics. She is an Intern at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Shanghai, China, while completing her doctoral work. Her research interests are the information optics.
