Investigate high current-producing biofilms capable of sustainable bioenergy/bioproduct production and waste treatment.
Develop low-cost and high-performance electrode and separator materials for microbial electrochemical systems.
Scale-up microbial electrochemical systems for electricity generation and wastewater treatment.
