Gaoyu Liu received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiao Tong University (XJTU), Xi'an, China, in 2014 and the M.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2018. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and automation engineering with Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong, China. His research interests include applications of smart materials, design and testing of lower limb prostheses, structural dynamics, and mechanical vibration.
