I am a Senior Scientist in the Program of Genetics and Genome Biology, Associate Director of The Centre for Applied Genomics, which is a CFI-MSI funded genome centre contributing to Canada’s national genome sequencing infrastructure for research. I am the Lead of the Canadian CF Gene Modifier Study and Co-Lead of the International CF Gene Modifier Consortium.
Research Interests
The goals of my research program are (1) to develop novel statistical methodology to unravel the complex underpinnings of genetic diseases; and (2) identify the genes that contribute to Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and use these findings to identify novel therapeutic targets and build diagnostic and predictive models for early intervention.
