Lin Wang

Lin Wang (M’14) received the B.Sc. degree in applied physics from the Department of Physics, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in theoretical physics from the School of Physics, Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in circuits and systems from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2013. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the WHO Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Control, School of Public Health, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. His current research interests include mathematical and statistical epidemiology, infectious diseases modeling, stochastic processes, decision and optimization, self-organizing, and networking systems. Dr. Wang was a recipient of the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Shanghai Municipality in 2015, the Outstanding University Graduates from Shanghai Municipal Government in 2013, and the Best Student Paper Award in Seventh Chinese Conference on Complex Networks in 2011. He serves as a Reviewer for about 20 journals and IEEE Transactions.
