My recent interests are focusing on developing knowledge-guided machine learning (KGML) models, by incorporating scientific knowledge into advanced machine learning techniques and assimilating multi-sources data, for complicated Earth ecosystem modeling. I have successfully developed first-its-kind KGMLs for N and C cycles for agriculture and now am working on transferring KGML to all kinds of ecosystems for C/N monitoring.
