My research focuses on how underlying genetic risk contributes to substance use behavior and stress sensitive sequelae (PTSD, depression). I am especially interested in examining how genetic risk influences and/or is influenced by environmental context, especially with regard to social environment and trauma-exposure. I am also interested, more broadly, in quantitative psychology and the application of latent variable and structural equation modeling in psychology.
