Wen Lei

Wen Lei received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in material science and engineering from the China University of Geoscience, Wuhan, China, in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in semiconductor materials and devices from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Duisburg, Germany. From 2007 to 2012, he was an Australian Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian Research Council (ARC) and a Research Fellow at The Australian National University, Canberra, ACT, Australia. In 2012, he joined the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, The University of Western Australia, Crawley, WA, Australia, as an Associate Professor, where he is currently a Professor. His current research interests include semiconductor thin film and nanostructure materials and their applications in microelectronic and optoelectronic devices. Dr. Lei was a recipient of the prestigious ARC Future Fellowship in 2013.
