Daniel Leff

Daniel Richard Leff (d.leff@imperial.ac.uk) earned his M.Surg. degree in oncoplastic breast surgery from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom, in 2015 and his Ph.D. degree in surgery from Imperial College London in 2009. He is a reader in breast surgery in the Departments of Biosurgery and Surgical Technology, Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery and Cancer Research U.K. Centre, Imperial College London. He is an honorary consultant in oncoplastic breast surgery, working within the breast unit at the Imperial College Healthcare National Health Service Trust. His research has been shortlisted for numerous prizes, including the Hounsfield Prize, British Journal of Surgery Prize, Patey Prize, and young scientist award from the Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention Society. In 2016, he won the inaugural Isaac Gukas Medal for outstanding achievement in breast surgery.
