Leena Riekkola

I study the spatial ecology (distribution and movement) of animals at various scales using spatial tracking and associated analytical and modelling tools. Through my work I aim to inform conservation and management decisions, and my research has already contributed to nationally and internationally recognised science success stories. I also have extensive experience in conducting aerial surveys and biopsy sampling of marine mammals.
