Lasse Løvstakken is a Professor with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He is also the Head of the Ultrasound Research Group, St. Olavs University Hospital. He has supervised 25 master’s students and 14 Ph.D. students (six graduated) as a main supervisor and 11 as a co-supervisor. He is an expert in ultrasound signal and image processing/analysis. His work on vector flow imaging has led to several innovations available on commercial clinical ultrasound scanners.
