Leda Sanchez Bettucci

I am the Director of the Observatorio Geofisico del Uruguay and teacher of Facultad de Ciencias at the Universidad de la Republica of Uruguay since 1991. I got my degree in geology at that Faculty and obtained the PhD in Geological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina. The academic career began in the Departamento de Geologia at the Universidad de la Republica, I deal with the fields of tectonics and paleomagnetism. I has been working in the tectonic evolution of Uruguay
