Graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in 2000. Gastroenterologist from the Federal University of Sao Paulo. PhD in Gastroenterology with emphasis on Hepatology from the Federal University of Sao Paulo. Currently I work as Professor of Gastroenterology and Coordinator of the Gastroenterology Service at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. My research interests include all fields of hepatology, especially complications of advanced liver diseases.
