个人简介
My research interests lie at the interface between gravitational physics, cosmology, particle physics and computational astrophysics ranging from purely theoretical topics to more observational subjects. My past research already includes these aspects, comprising the fundamental properties of effective field theories, their cosmological consequences and observational signatures. It is my aim to explore further the interplay between particle physics and cosmology as well as studying how to use astrophysical and cosmological probes to test fundamental physics and gravitational interactions.
On the theory side, the quest for a fundamental theory of quantum gravity, the construction of consistent effective field theories, the implications of quantum corrections on them, their possible embedding into quantum gravity and their concrete predictions and signatures strongly attracts my attention. On the more observational side, I am especially interested in the dynamics of cosmic structure formation and in experiments that map the cosmological large-scale structure and trace out its evolution, in particular on gravitational lensing and on probes that leave traces in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). Given the recent developments in gravitational wave (GW) physics, I have become strongly interested in understanding the implications of different effective field theories in the regime of strong gravity.
